It’s Been a While

Hard to believe it’s been over a year since I’ve blogged anything. A lot has happened since that time. I’ve had back surgery, and recovered somewhat. I let my ponytail grow out again, and once again I look like Santa’s slightly crazed younger brother would look if he lifted weights and ate a lot. I gave away Striker the snake, watched my cat give birth to five babies in my closet (in my shoes, to be exact), and watched my goldfish die off one by one until there was one survivor left swimming forlornly around in the tank. I’ve seen my wife battle cancer and win. I’ve watched my daughter bloom into a beautiful, intelligent young woman. Yep, big changes all around. I’ve always missed the little community of t-bloggers that I grew to know so well, and I’d hoped most of them were still around. Alas, most seem to have fallen by the wayside. It’s good to see that a few of the old die-hards have toughed it out and are still blogging. I’ll get around to visiting everyone sooner or later. When I deserted tblog, I deleted my old posts, but fortunately, kept copies of most of them. I’ll repost some of my favorites, and give an update on what’s happened when there’s something to tell. It’s nice to be back, even if it’s only for a while.

Thanks much. Although I deleted all my old posts, I had copies in Microsoft Word format. I came across them recently, hence my (probably temporary) return to the tblog fold.

I'll always read what you write here.

I'm glad that you're back. :)

Ah hah! I did see a Basil ghost wafting through the tHalls. It's nice to see you stirring. Indeed most of us are gone.. off to blogspot where the servers generally tend to run most days. Others got chased away by a few unpleasant arguments, etc. And with the changes tblog has undergone, it looks as though much of the riff raff is here to stay. Welcome back, not much has changes. :)

So much to happen in one year! I can relate to your goldfish dying, although I've only ever had one fish, & not for very long. :-(
